If you have Pocophone F1 with touch issues? Xiaomi wants your device
Xiaomi has done really good job of supporting the Pocophone F1 via firmware updates by bringing new features and fixing bugs. The company is going another level to solve touchscreen issues though, by calling for users to submit their devices for testing.
Alvin Tse head of Pocophone announced the news on Twitter that the company is looking for devices that suffered from screen freezing, phantom touches, and touch lag in general. Click here
Don’t get happy yet and send your device to the company because they are first asking users to their contact details, videos proof and few more things. Once they have verified that your Pocophone F1 is having the problem and fit for testing, they will contact you.
It’s a pretty sensible move by Xiaomi, and it doesn’t seem like the type of thing you’d see from manufacturers very often, if at all. Hopefully, the firm gives users a loaner Pocophone F1 (or another flagship) if they choose to submit their device for testing. Regardless, we’re glad to see the company hasn’t forgotten about the 2018 model now that the Redmi K20 Pro is on the way.
