Apple Watch Series 5 Might Come in Ceramic and Titanium
Apple beta software just can’t keep secrets lol. Not even a week after the iOS 13 beta suggested a Sept. 10 debut for the iPhone 11, the watchOS 6 beta just showed what kind of Apple Watch models to expect this fall and people are going mad for it already.
The beta of watch OS 6 includes setup screens that refer to titanium and ceramic cases for the Apple Watch.
Currently we don’t have titanium version of the Apple Watch. We had ceramic version of Apple watch in Series 2 and Series 3, but the Apple Watch Series 4 only comes in aluminum and stainless steel cases.
Not the first time we’ve heard that Apple was planning on bringing back a ceramic option. In February, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told us that Apple might add a new ceramic case design to its Apple Watch lineup this year.
As for titanium, in that case it will match new Apple Card that is also made from titanium, rolling out to consumers this month.
Past few years, Apple has launched new apple watches alongside its new iPhones in the fall. Apple is expected to hold its annual launch event next month, most likely on September 10.
