Instagram and Facebook will be starting paid subscription model for Instagram called ‘Meta Verified’
Meta will soon be starting its new Meta Verified service.
The company sent out a message putting out its new business offering to Instagram users about a monthly paid service that verifies their identity and provides account holders a verified blue badge, also at the same time monitoring the site for impersonators.
After some time, it was posted pm Meta broadcast channel by CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself, who wrote:
For anyone to sign up got Meta Verification, users will have to met the Minimum activity requirement
. Must be al least 18 years of age
.Will have to submit a government identification document that matches the information on there Instagram & Facebook
Our insider told us that humans who will pay for Meta Verification will also get access to exclusive content such as reels and Stories stickers they will also get 100 free Facebook stars every month ( stars are used to tip creators virtually )
we can say the service is almost same like Twitter Blue started by its CEO Elon Musk, which was met with lot of backlash by Twitter users and other official accounts. But meta claims that its paid model is different then Twitter, They won’t touch current verified accounts that meet authentic requirements.
At the same time Meta told our insider that it will be revealing additional services which will be helping new creator on its social platform, which will include Instagram Broadcast Channels and Facebooks all new content moderation tool for its creators who are wanting for have more control over their page.
This all new Meta Verified service will be starting at $11.99 (₹991.81 )per month for desktop or android users or ₹14,99 (₹1,239.97) iOS users. This new update will be starting in Australia and New Zealand first.
