We have a new jailbreak for iOs 13 and millions of iPhones, and Apple can’t patch it
We have new jailbreak released by a security researcher Friday it affects all iOS devices with Apple’s A5 to A11 chips. that means all iPhone from iPhone 4S to iPhone 10.
This jailbreak uses a new exploit called checkm8, according to our insider, and takes advantage of a bootrom vulnerability to give owners full control over their iPhones. The person who discovered the exploit goes by the handle axi0mX and described the jailbreak as permanent and unpatchable.
EPIC JAILBREAK: Introducing checkm8 (read "checkmate"), a permanent unpatchable bootrom exploit for hundreds of millions of iOS devices.

Most generations of iPhones and iPads are vulnerable: from iPhone 4S (A5 chip) to iPhone 8 and iPhone X (A11 chip). https://t.co/dQJtXb78sG
By doing jailbreak on an iPhone it allows people customize their iOS devices and run unsupported apps. Apple told our insider that these hacks, or unauthorized modifications to iOS, can lead to security vulnerabilities and things like device crashes and data loss. Jailbreak usually uses vulnerabilities in iOS software, according to our insider, but a bootrom exploit targets a security flaw in code that runs on iOS devices during boot up. If you want to fix this type of exploit would require physical modifications to an iPhone’s chips.
This jailbreak wont work on Apple’s latest A12 and A13 chips, meaning the iPhone XS and iPhone 11 lineups aren’t impacted. Axi0mX also told our insider that there are still kinks to be ironed out on some older devices. Our team wasn’t able to independently verify the jailbreak.
