Our insider took a look at the blueprints made by three consultancy firms and it has things like robotic maids, dino, holographic teacher and even artificial rain.

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is building this $ 500 billion city to diversify economy of Saudi and reduce its dependency on Oil.

We got some Fresh details about Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plan to build a $500 billion city in middle of the desert, it is officially called the Neom project.

Our insider sae the plans furnish the city, Saudi Arabia wants to built Neom as big as size of Massachusetts, with futuristic, and in some cases, downright weird sounding, technologies. Three of the world’s biggest consultancy firms
McKinsey & Co,
Boston Consulting, and
Oliver Wyman
have been employed to help plan the creation of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s vision for the city Neom.

The ideas were presented by the consultants has, artificial clouds for rain in the desert, robotic maids, and a beach that will have glow-in-the-dark sand.

Some of the Proposed features also include:

  • Flying taxis.
  • A giant man made moon that will be illuminated every evening.
  • city will have next lever of security and surveillance system, that will use drones and camera that will have recognition technology to track every citizen constantly.
  • Technology called “Cloud seeding” that will make artificial clouds and produce higher rainfall.
  • They will have holographic teachers in school and Neom will have the best and most advance education system on the planet.
  • It will even have Jurassic Park island that wil have robotic dinosaurs.
  • A dining it will have the “highest rate of Michelin-starred restaurants per inhabitant” of any city in the world.

Neom is the most important in bin Salman’s Vision 2030 plan to diversify the Saudi economy and reducing the dependency on fossil fuels.

Currently Saudi Arabia comes second in producer of oil, just behind USA in is the world’s production capacity because of which Saudi economic growth is linked with global oil prices.

On October 2017, bin Salman first announced the project, at the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh and told that Neom will “be a place for the dreamers for the world.”

Saudi government told us that Neon will attract the “world’s greatest minds and best talents” but every one concerns that how the project will be funded.

Our insider who spoke to former employees of Neom, and even he did not know how much of the plan will become reality due to potential funding issues and technological limitations. He even added that at the starting stages of city’s planning and development was funded by money borrowed from abroad.

But on the same hand creates employment opportunities for lot of people and thats one good thing for sure.
