Your Phone app by Microsoft will let you see all your Android notifications on PC

Microsoft’s Your Phone app has been available on Windows 10 for a while, doing a really good job of enabling cross-platform connectivity between PC and Android. This week app received a major update , giving users the ability to see all their Android notifications on their desktop or laptop.

In new update you don’t have to pick up your phone to view or delete notifications. Furthermore, dismissing an alert on one device will also dismiss it on the other. Microsoft mobile executive Vishnu Nath adds that it isn’t an all-or-nothing approach, as you can also pick which app notifications get pushed to your PC.

In order for the feature to work, make sure you’re using the Windows 10 April 2018 update or later. Your phone app should be running on version 1.19052.657.0 or later. Your Phone director of program management Vishnu Nath stated on twitter that the rollout has currently reached about 50 percent of PCs, but it should be completed within a week.

Microsoft’s Your Phone app has a couple of other cool features on Windows 10 , such as access to photos on your phone you can read and reply to text message.

Notification mirroring is a big addition though, taking us one step closer to Apple-style cross-platform capabilities. Hoping to give it a try? You can download the Your Phone app for PC via the button below.
